Eastern White Pine (a.k.a. eastern white pine) (pinus strobus)

Eastern White Pine are the tallest evergreen tree in North America. A hardy, valuable tree with clustered soft blue-green needles. Eastern White Pine is an ideal and popular privacy screen or windbreaker. Likes moist, well drained soils.

Eastern White Pine is usually fast growing to approx. 80' to 100' tall with a 35' to 40' spread.

Eastern White Pine grow between 1' and 2' tall per year at this size depending on the soil and weather conditions. Eastern White Pine can be trained to be more dense by breaking their candles (new growth) in half while budding in the spring.

All of our Eastern White Pine are purchased and shipped from a certified nursery located in Michigan where we purchased all of our seedling evergreen trees planted on our tree farm.

Note: Potted Eastern White Pine can be transplanted almost any time of the year since their root system is barely disturbed with little or no stress to the plant when transplanted.
