Trees, shrubs, bushes, and plants mark the changing seasons and attract song birds and other worldly creatures.
For all of us, trees and plants are a source of lumber, food, and countless products, and they beautify our communities and countryside.
But equally important, trees, shrubs, bushes, and plants conserve energy with shade, reduce soil erosion, clean the air we breathe and produce oxygen, help protect rivers and streams, and provide a haven for wildlife.
Potted trees, shrubs, bushes, and plants are easy to transplant yourself:
- Update your landscape with a few trees, shrubs, and bushes
- Add evergreen tree privacy to your property borders or driveway
- Transform your backyard or property into a private evergreen forest
- Grow, eat, and freeze nutritious preservative free berries

Trees, Shrubs, Bushes, And Plants Produce Oxygen |
All green plants produce oxygen. They do this through a process called photosynthesis, where they convert carbon dioxide and water into sugars (for food) and oxygen, using sunlight as an energy source. This oxygen is then released into the atmosphere.
Photosynthesis: Plants use chlorophyll, a pigment in their leaves, to capture sunlight.
Converting CO2 and water: This captured sunlight energy is used to convert carbon dioxide (from the air) and water (from the soil) into sugars (glucose) and oxygen.
Oxygen as a byproduct: The oxygen produced as a result of this process is released by the plant into the atmosphere.
This photosynthesis process is carried out by all green plants, including trees, shrubs, bushes, grasses, algae, and even some types of bacteria, as long as they have chlorophyll.
